Arlen Domoney

TENNIS DIRECTOR

Arlen brings deep roots and broad leadership experience to Oak Hills Tennis. He most recently served for ten years as Director of Tennis at Noroton Yacht Club in Darien and previously spent six years at Oak Hills Tennis Club, including two years as Director of Tennis. With 18 years of professional experience in Fairfield County and 13 years as a Tennis Director/Manager, he also coaches and manages 10 USTA Ladies Teams at Chelsea Piers during the fall and winter seasons.

 

Arlen believes tennis is a lifelong journey and is committed to creating an experience that is both welcoming and inspiring. His coaching philosophy centers on developing the “total player” through technical skill, strategy, mental resilience, and a love of the game. From first-time beginners to seasoned competitors, he is passionate about helping every player grow, connect, and enjoy the sport.

Jimmy McCormick​ 

TENNIS PROFESSIONAL​​

Jimmy grew up in a highly sports-oriented family, with his mother playing professional basketball and his father competing as a professional tennis player. He played both sports growing up before focusing on tennis during high school.

 

Jimmy continued his tennis career at Jacksonville Junior College, where he played for two years and reached rankings of #43 in NJCAA singles and #14 in doubles. He then attended the University of the Southwest, where he earned Second Team All-Conference doubles honors two years in a row and achieved a NAIA doubles ranking of #34.

 

Jimmy has been coaching full-time for the past eight years. After spending a year coaching in San Antonio, he moved to Fairfield County, where he has been coaching for the past seven years. During the winter season, he currently coaches indoors at Chelsea Piers alongside Arlen.

Clive Ullyett​ 

TENNIS PROFESSIONAL​​

Clive brings a wealth of high-level playing and coaching experience to the court. A nationally ranked player in both Zimbabwe and South Africa, he was also part of a world-ranked doubles team before attending university. His deep competitive background has shaped a thoughtful, disciplined approach to teaching the game.

Over the course of his coaching career, Clive has worked with nationally ranked junior and collegiate players and has been with Proform Tennis Academy since its inception. He has also served as head coach at both Tokeneke Club and The Field Club of Greenwich. With his international playing experience and longstanding commitment to player development, Clive offers a knowledgeable and inspiring presence for players of all levels.
